Broadcast Pix Granite

Granite Switcher runs 1080i HD end-to-end. You can easily upgrade to 1080p, insuring your investment is future proof. Granite is true multi-definition as you can run a mixture of 1080i, 720p and SD inputs, in both 16:9 and 4:3, sync and async. It has up to 22 HD SDI inputs, plus 7 channels of file inputs from Granite server. There are up to 12 HD SDI and 2 DVI outputs. Granite ships with 3 or 6 keyers. Low delay makes it exceptional for live events. Upgrade to 1080p for 3Gb/s processing (twice the data rate of conventional HD) for even better picture quality and 1080p I/O.

The Slate 1000 starts with a great hybrid switcher, with the best upgrade path in the industry. It has 4 to 8 live inputs, in HD, SD , analog or combination, which are combined with 1 to 2 channels of clips and 5 channels of graphics. Three to six keyers each include a DVE. The innovative control panel is the most powerful 1 M/E panel in the industry, creating an unprecedented single point of control for all of the power in the live integrated production system. The Slate 1000 can grow as your needs grow, from SD to HD, to more I/O, to 2M/E, and even to 1080p by upgrading to Granite.

Broadcast Pix Portable

The Slate Portable is a highly portable version of a Slate system that can go anywhere easily. The monitor and keyboard and touchpad are built-into the cover. Fold it closed and it is highly compact, just 10x13.7x17.3 inches ( 254 x 346 x 438 mm). There is carrying handle on top, or put it in the included roll around case with wheels and a handle. It’s an entire control room in a 45 pound (20 Kg) box, complete with switcher, multi-view monitoring, clip store, CG, graphics and format conversion. Just add cameras and audio for a complete studio.
