Our company was established in 2001 by Nick Tay, a qualified Recording Arts Specialist (USA) and educator (M.ED, UK), and a pioneer who helped set up and taught for many years at Singapore’s first film school and Asia’s first centre for excellence in DVD technology at NgeeAnn Polytechnic. His vision is to build a profitable business in creating innovative solutions using cutting-edge technologies for our customers in SE Asia and the region.
In the same year, our team won 3 International Awards at the 2001 DVD-Association Excellence Awards, USA for his production of 'Born in Singapore', an interactive enhanced-DVD project commissioned by the Ministry of Information, Communication and The Arts. Our team is also credit for creating several hundred Hollywood movie DVD titles including Terminator3, Matrix Revolutions, Matrix Reloaded, Gangs of New York, Blade Trinity, just to name a few. Today, we continue to offer turnkey custom optical disc production services, from design, printing, disc replication to packaging, to our customers in Singapore, SE Asia and as far away as the US.
With our expertise and experience in video, audio, multimedia and IT workflows, we were appointed authorized dealers for Sonic, DTS and Sony in SE Asia. To date, Sonic Scenarist is still the most widely used platform for creating professional movie DVDs. We continued to forge partnerships with new technology developers and excelled in the new fields of file-based video acquisition production workflows with Panasonic, collaborative video editing with Editshare, LTO archiving in professional and broadcast video with Cache-A, large-format multi-touch interactive displays with NextWindow and Reactrix.
We are now a EPPU-S5 (up to $1 Million) qualified company in the EPU/AVP/10 category for Audio Visual, Photographic & Optical Products.
